About the Job We are now seeking a personal assistant who wants to work as an hourly substitute. Shifts are scheduled during daytime 09:00-17:00 Wed-Fri and night shifts 22:00-08:30 Mon-Sun. During night shifts, the assistant works awake throughout the night. About the Customer and Tasks The customer is a 69-year-old man who lives in a villa with his wife. The customer is wheelchair-bound and has reduced mobility in the lower part of his body. He has no difficulty communicating, but due to his functional level, he needs close support and assistance around him when needed and as desired. As a personal assistant to the customer, you will play a crucial role in his daily life. You will assist the customer with daily activities, which include: · Support with all movement and position changes · Personal care · Dressing and undressing · Personal hygiene · Bladder and bowel management · Meals · Other body care · Shopping for daily goods · Laundry and cleaning · Accompanying on exercise · Companion for various activities Requirements for You as an Applicant · Have nursing assistant education · Experience using floor lifts and lift harnesses · Fluent Swedish both spoken and written · Have a B driving license · Be able to cook · Have good physical fitness to perform transfers Your work is of great importance for his well-being and quality of life. Qualities that describe you are that you are proactive, empathetic, considerate, flexible, and adaptable as changes can occur with short notice. Nursing assistant education is a requirement for the position, and it is an asset if you have experience as a nursing assistant. Other Information It is important that you are not allergic to fur or afraid of cats as there is a cat in the customer's home.
