NG Nordic is building up its local procurement function in Katrineholm. At NG Nordic's facility in Katrineholm, a lot is happening at once. Production, logistics, and daily operations need to run without interruption – and now the company is choosing to create a new role to get even closer to the operations. We are now seeking an operational procurement specialist for the facility in Katrineholm. This is not about strategic procurement far from operations or lengthy multi-step processes. Instead, the idea is that procurement should be close to the people, production, and what happens on the floor every day. "Someone who gets things done" NG Nordic's operations in Katrineholm work with, among other things, electronics recycling. The role of operational procurement specialist will be an important part of the daily work where the pace is sometimes high and needs can change quickly. The focus is on procurement related to ongoing operations – everything from maintenance materials and industrial parts to supplies and logistics-related purchases. This is also why the company is looking for someone who enjoys working in an industrial environment and likes being close to operations. You need to be a person who gets things done, finds it easy to collaborate with different types of people, and thrives in an environment where the pace is sometimes high. The role is new and has been created based on a clear need in the organization. The goal is to build a more present procurement function where operations receive faster support in everyday work and where communication between production and procurement becomes closer. Are you the right person for this assignment? Then we hope you will submit an application! Example of work tasks: Responsible for operational procurement related to daily operations at the site. Procure maintenance materials, industrial parts, and other supplies. Work closely with production and logistics to ensure the right material in the right place at the right time. Handle orders, follow-up, and delivery monitoring. Collaborate with employees in operations and internal functions. Orders in procurement systems and other systems related to procurement and administration. Support operations with procurement-related questions and find practical solutions in everyday work. Contribute to developing and building up local procurement work at the site. Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers regarding prices, deliveries, and procurement needs. Be present in operations and create close collaboration between procurement and production. Are you the person we're looking for? We are looking for someone who thrives in a practical, operations-focused role where collaboration, pace, and problem-solving are a natural part of everyday work. You are confident in yourself, find it easy to reach out to people, and enjoy working in an environment where a lot is happening. We would prefer that you have: Experience in procurement within industry, production, or manufacturing. Understanding of operational procurement flows and daily operations in an industrial environment. Experience working close to production, logistics, or maintenance. Good administrative and organizational skills. Experience working in business systems, preferably SAP. Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. A solution-oriented and unpretentious approach to work. Good communication skills and ease in collaborating with different functions. B driver's license and access to your own car. It is a plus if you have experience from recycling, industry, or other operations where procurement occurs close to daily production. The work is primarily based in Katrineholm with presence at the facility four days a week and one day in Gävle. Therefore, both a B driver's license and access to your own car are required.
