Kullen is located at Ekerö centrum and consists of 8 departments with a total of 82 residential places. Our residents have either cognitive difficulties or somatic diseases. We are a dementia-certified residential facility, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia care and interaction through Silviahemmet. About the role You are the central point around the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train care staff so that together you give each resident as good a life as possible. In this work, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is "Leading Without Being a Manager". Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and seeing small changes in their health and medical condition is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
