Your Assignment The Night Patrol provides home care services to clients in their private homes during nighttime hours 22:15-07:30. You work as part of a team with colleagues, and it is extremely important to understand that the client's wishes and needs guide your work. The Night Patrol also responds to incoming alarms from Nacka's clients during nighttime, and in these cases you always work in pairs, which means you must also be a support to your colleague when unexpected care situations arise. This may require correct and quick action; you must therefore feel confident in your role and be able to remain calm. We operate a mobile home care service and all vehicles are equipped with GPS and operate from Sofiero Senior Center in Björknäs. The client's needs are always the starting point for our services, and typical work tasks include care, supervision, and responding to alarms. Documentation is also an important part of your work. For this position you must have: - Be at least 18 years old - Have experience working in home care or elderly care - Have very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written - Have a Class B driver's license (manual transmission) and very good driving experience in all road conditions and darkness - Be comfortable handling technical aids It is an advantage if you also have: - Ongoing or completed education in healthcare and nursing - Documentation, computer and systems experience - Knowledge of languages other than Swedish - Experience with dementia patients Your Personal Competencies - Service-oriented - Act reliably and ethically - Self-driven - Good teamwork ability - Plan and deliver Extract from the Police Records For this position you need to order an extract from the Police Records, form "Work in homes with elderly and persons with disabilities."
