The Center for Integration and Multilingualism (CIFS) is responsible for native language instruction and study guidance in Sollentuna municipality's elementary schools. We operate from newly renovated premises in Tureberg House, in the heart of Sollentuna Center, but our most important arena is meeting with students. At CIFS, you become part of a professional and committed workplace where we place the student at the center. By strengthening students' native language and cultural identity, we give them keys to increased self-confidence and a deeper understanding of the world. Job Responsibilities We are now seeking an engaged Bengali native language teacher who wants to inspire students and strengthen their language development through both distance learning and in-person instruction. This position is a fixed-term employment for one school year with a 60% employment rate. You create instruction that meets students at different levels and makes learning both accessible and meaningful, while also having the opportunity to develop in your pedagogical role. In our work team, you will meet experienced and supportive colleagues, close leadership, and clear structure with regular meetings and professional development. Here, your expertise is important in helping students find security, joy, and pride in their language. Qualifications As a person, you have strong pedagogical insight and meet students and guardians with a professional and secure approach. Your cultural awareness allows you to create an inclusive learning environment adapted to the Swedish school system. You have good ability to collaborate and build positive relationships. Requirements Very good knowledge of Bengali (native speaker level). Pedagogical education. Experience teaching children and/or young people. Ability to communicate in Swedish. Good digital competence. Merits Teaching certification. Experience working with digital tools in instruction. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
