About the Facility Bolmörtsgränd in Ystad is centrally located and is a child and youth residential facility under LSS § 9:8. The facility has five places and serves children and young people ages 13-18 who, for various reasons, need residential care outside their parental homes. Young people also have the opportunity to remain in the facility after turning 18 to complete their ongoing schooling in the area. The facility has specialized expertise in communication and serves children and young people with combined functional disabilities. The facilities provide a home-like environment and operations run year-round with the aim of being a secure complement to the parental home. Your Responsibilities As Unit Manager, you are responsible for the daily operations, development, and quality of the facility. You are responsible for finances, personnel, and work environment at the unit and actively work to create a safe, well-functioning, and developmental facility for both residents and staff. You are part of the area's management team together with other unit managers, an HR partner, and a regional manager. Together, you drive operations forward and work to ensure high quality and good results. To provide our residents with the best possible support, you work closely with our specialist team, operations developer, HR function, and training organization. You create conditions for staff to develop in their roles and deliver high-quality services. The role also includes on-call duties. You collaborate with guardians, schools, habilitation centers, and other important stakeholders around the children and young people living with us. About You We seek someone with a degree in social work, behavioral science, social pedagogy, or education in social care. Formal qualifications are required for you to be able to stand on the facility's authorization. You have previously worked in LSS operations and have management experience. It is a merit if you have experience in schools. As a person, you are relationship-building and find it easy to establish trusting and long-term relationships with residents, guardians, staff, and colleagues alike. You are a confident and stable leader with good self-awareness and the ability to create structure and clarity in operations, even in situations requiring flexibility and adaptability. The Position We offer a permanent full-time position (100%); we may apply a probationary period. Start date by agreement. Fixed monthly salary; we apply individual salary determination. A requirement for employment is that you can provide a certificate from the suspicion and record register. A B driving license is required. We use personality and problem-solving ability tests as part of our recruitment process.
