We are currently seeking a mechanic for production at our client in Trollhättan. As a mechanic, you will work with maintenance, service, and troubleshooting on a production unit. You will become an important part of the production team and contribute to ensuring that operations and production run efficiently, safely, and with high quality. About the Position: The mechanic role involves working with maintenance, service, and repair of machines and various types of production equipment. You are responsible for ensuring operational reliability and that the production flow runs efficiently through preventive maintenance and quick handling of operational disruptions. You need to be flexible and also be willing to take on other tasks within production if the business requires it. Working hours are varying and shift work as well as work on evenings and/or weekends may occur. Your Tasks: The role includes, among other things: Perform service, maintenance, and repairs of machines and production equipment Monitor processes and troubleshoot operational disruptions Carry out preventive maintenance according to established plans Document completed work and report deviations in maintenance systems Analyze and assess machine performance and function Ensure that machines, tools, and equipment are kept in safe and good condition Inspect incoming materials, such as spare parts and consumables Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment and contribute to optimization Plan procurement of spare parts and be responsible for inventory management of components Support and train operators in correct use and maintenance of machines Participate in improvement work to reduce downtime and increase efficiency Contribute to good order, cleaning, and compliance with safety procedures in production Who Are You? We see that you: Have experience with mechanical maintenance in an industrial or production environment Possess good technical understanding and are experienced in diagnosing and solving problems Are responsible, thorough, and have a solution-focused approach to work Work equally well independently as together with others Have a strong focus on safety and value a secure work environment Have good ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing It is an advantage if you also have experience with: Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Welding or other metal processing Use of maintenance or business systems Forklift license or overhead crane license About the Organization: Any named references should be aware that they are included in your application documents.
