Where You Will Work Björkgården is located in the Råsunda district with excellent transportation connections. We are a care and residential facility with 51 apartments distributed across four floors, one of which is for individuals with cognitive diseases/dementia. Here we work with heart and mind to make every day fantastic for our residents. Björkgården has an activity profile focused on sports and outdoor life, where we have, among other things, a "cycle taxi" that runs every week from spring to fall. Job Responsibilities As a Living Life Inspiration Coordinator at Björkgården, you will have a key role in creating a meaningful, joyful, and community-oriented everyday life for our residents. Your mission is to start from each individual – their interests, experiences, and dreams – and together find ways to activities and experiences that strengthen both well-being and quality of life. This can range from preserving old interests to sparking curiosity about something completely new. You contribute with creativity, dedication, and care, and ensure that everyday life includes both the small golden moments and the larger, shared activities. The role also includes leading and supporting activity representatives and contact persons, so that the entire team works together to create joy and variety in the residents' lives. An important part of the work is also to build networks and collaborate with associations, volunteer organizations, and the municipality, so that our residents have the opportunity to continue being part of society. Through your pedagogical abilities, you also share new knowledge and inspire colleagues to develop the work based on person-centered and research-based methods. In short, you become the person who, together with the rest of us, makes a difference every day by putting quality of life in focus. The position will also include areas of responsibility such as ordering and preparations for welcoming a new resident. Job Description We are currently seeking a full-time colleague for a permanent position with a probationary period. To be eligible for this position, you need: A university degree in health pedagogy or a nursing assistant with a protected professional title who has documented experience working as an activity coach in elderly care Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written Class B driver's license and experience driving a minibus We also consider it a merit if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care. To thrive in the position, you are dedicated and care about your fellow people while being good at creating good relationships and being service-oriented. Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police's criminal record register.
