Job Responsibilities As a nurse in municipal health and care services, you will lead nursing and healthcare work at our facilities. You'll collaborate with nursing assistants, care personnel, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers. You also cooperate with primary care, inpatient care, and other actors based on a holistic view of the patient. You'll have overall patient responsibility for the care of your patients. This includes making your own assessments, taking samples, wound dressing, medication management, injections, diabetes care, and other relevant tasks. The work also includes prevention of diseases and disease complications such as fall injuries, malnutrition, and mental health issues. Furthermore, the work may include responsibility for end-of-life care. As a nurse, you'll also mentor and train/delegate personnel in nursing and healthcare services. You actively participate in development work to improve our operations. Meritorious Qualifications Specialist training in elderly care District nurse training Further education in dementia care Previous experience in municipal health and care services Other relevant further education for the position Employment Terms Permanent employment on a full-time basis.
