Hjortsbergaskolan is located in the Hjortsberga community, approximately 1 mile from Alvesta town center. We have the lake nearby and our catchment area is the Hjortsberga community and surrounding villages, with approximately 85% of students using school transportation. Hjortsbergaskolan wants, in cooperation with guardians, to develop active, creative, competent, and responsible individuals. DUTIES We are looking for a teacher for the elementary level. The position involves mentoring and teaching in collaboration with colleagues within the grade level and within the team you are part of. It is of course important that you create good cooperation with the students and their guardians. QUALIFICATIONS Basic requirements are that you hold a teaching degree and have applied for or obtained licensure in your field. You should have a strong interest in creating positive learning environments and a good teaching culture together with your team colleagues. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We also value that you have good collaboration skills while it is important that you have your own drive. You should be social and have an easy time creating good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You should be organized, clear, and consistent with the ability to take your own initiative with great enthusiasm and flexibility. You see possibilities instead of obstacles, as well as the importance of students' influence over their learning development where language, learning, and identity are of utmost importance for the student to have the opportunity to develop in all subjects.
