As a primary teacher for after-school programs with a focus on physical education & health, you'll apply your pedagogical expertise in practice to create a safe and well-structured learning environment. An important and exciting part of the position involves teaching and leading activities within physical education and health, where you promote the joy of movement and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Your responsibilities include: Establishing structures: Initiate, develop, and establish clear routines and pedagogical frameworks for after-school operations. Teaching physical education and health: Plan and deliver instruction/activities focused on movement, health, and cooperation. Creating continuity throughout the school day: Be a stable and trustworthy adult for students from morning to afternoon, in the classroom, during transitions, and at breaks. Driving quality after-school time: Design and lead an inspiring after-school program (both afternoons and breaks) that contributes to students' curiosity, creativity, and learning.
