You want to help create a stimulating, structured, and inclusive learning environment where students' linguistic confidence can grow. With a conscious language-development approach, you spark students' curiosity and desire to learn. About the Position As a teacher of Swedish and English, you are responsible for instruction in grades 7–9. Your role involves planning and delivering instruction grounded in research, where you place the spoken and written word at the center. To reach all students, we place great emphasis on varied teaching. You understand the value of alternating between literature reading and writing with oral presentations, digital tools, and interactive language exercises. In the classroom, you are a good and confident leader who creates a judgment-free atmosphere where students dare to speak, write, and develop. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues on cross-subject projects and active participation in the school's quality work. The position also includes mentoring. We believe in meeting each student where they are linguistically and giving them the tools they need to express themselves, analyze their surroundings, and succeed in all the school's subjects. We are looking for someone who: Is a certified teacher of Swedish and English for primary school grades 7–9. Has confident and clear classroom management that creates study focus, security, and an inclusive environment. Is passionate about a language-development approach and has the ability to make language learning (both Swedish and English) lively, relevant, and engaging for students. Sees the value in varied teaching and can adapt your methods to suit different learning styles and age groups. Has a professional approach to assessment, where you weave in formative methods to make students' progress toward learning objectives visible. Is responsible and solution-oriented. Other Information The position is a permanent employment (100%) with a 6-month trial period. Start date: Fall 2026.
