The school is an F-9 school with approximately 430 students. It's organized into three work teams, F-3, 4-6, and 7-9, where we work to create a "common thread" from an F-9 perspective. The school has its own kitchen, after-school program, youth center, and school sports association. We're also close to forest and ski trails. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Spanish teacher, you'll be connected to one of the school's three work teams, where collaboration focuses on the student's knowledge development. You'll also be connected to a subject group for collegial learning with colleagues who continuously have time set aside to develop teaching. The position may include mentoring a group of students together with at least one colleague. You actively contribute to collegial learning in various forums based on your expertise and develop your subject areas. You see the computer as a natural and enriching work tool in both your own work and that of your students. You have good knowledge of the school's policy documents and strong knowledge of pedagogical documentation. QUALIFICATIONS Basic expectations are that you hold teacher certification with authorization to teach Spanish in primary school. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We also value strong collaborative skills, sociability, and an ability to build good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You should be organized, clear, and consistent with the ability to take initiative on your own, with great commitment and drive. Employment Type: Permanent position.
