About the School Källbrinksskolan is beautifully located in the middle of Huddinge with lovely forest and Källbrinks sports field right next to it. At Källbrink, 50 employees work with approximately 450 students. Teachers work in year-group teams with four classes per grade level. There is also a team consisting of the school's three smaller teaching groups. The operation is well-functioning and characterized by competence and a positive view of students. In our work with students, we focus on the individual's needs, and we use an approach where adaptations, both large and small, are the starting point. We are flexible in lesson planning and exam assignments, and we believe that school work should be done at school. We are a one-to-one school and work with Chromebooks as our digital tool. About the Position This is a permanent position at 100% with start date August 10, 2026. As a science teacher, you will teach grades 7, 8, and 9. The position includes shared mentorship with a colleague. They plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching based on the curriculum, and follow up, assess, grade, and document students' knowledge development. You will be part of both a year-group team and a subject team with good opportunities for collaboration and collegial learning. In this role, you are expected to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for our students. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating your teaching. You have good digital competence and see Vklass, Teams, and Google Classroom as natural tools in your work and communication. You have subject colleagues and you meet in subject teams, which provides good opportunities for collaboration. You will also be part of a year-group team, where you work together on students and teaching in a grade level, to best meet students' needs and help them develop both academically and socially. Being a teacher and professional educator in Huddinge Municipality means you have high expectations and a belief that all students can succeed according to their circumstances. About You You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach science in grades 7-9 and preferably another subject. You have previous experience teaching at the secondary level and are well familiar with the primary school's governing documents. You see documentation and assessment as an integral part of your work. You are a positive and competent educator with a strong commitment to student development. You are flexible and creative with teaching that stimulates students' curiosity and desire to learn. You see relationships as your primary pedagogical tool, and you have a talent for creating good relationships and collaborating with students, guardians, and colleagues. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a clear leader, and in the classroom, you have the ability to create a work environment characterized by safety, trust, and respect. You have high competence in meeting students according to their circumstances and needs. It is particularly meritorious if you have previous experience working with NPF.
