Hultdalsskolan is a grades 7-9 school located in Åby, approximately one mile north of Norrköping. We have around 370 students distributed across 14 classes. Learning and safety are our focus! Our shared rules and goals are clear and contribute to a good work environment for both students and staff. For the past couple of years, we have been a mobile phone-free school, which has further contributed to increased safety and focus on studies. We are just over 40 employees who together create the best conditions for our students. Teachers are divided into three work teams, one for each grade level. In addition to the teaching teams, there is a team consisting of special education teachers who, together with our student health team and attendance team, support both students and educators in daily work. Your responsibilities As a mathematics and technology teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in your subjects, in accordance with applicable governing documents. You actively work to create a safe, creative, and inclusive learning environment where students are given the opportunity to develop both their practical and theoretical skills. You participate in collaborative development work and are passionate about developing your subjects. The position includes mentoring responsibilities for one class. Who are you? We are looking for someone with teaching certification and credentials to teach mathematics and technology in grades 7–9. You ideally have experience with pedagogical work and mentoring in grades 7-9. To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are a confident, clear, and structured leader in the classroom and you are passionate about teaching and inspiring students in your subject. Furthermore, you are receptive and skilled at creating and developing good relationships and have strong collaboration skills with both colleagues and students and guardians. You are flexible and have drive, perseverance, and a solution-focused approach. You are well versed in the school's governing documents, have a professional attitude, and consider both the individual's and the organization's best interests.
