WORK TASKS As an afterschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing and following up instruction in the afterschool program in accordance with the curriculum's goals. You create a safe, stimulating and meaningful activity where students' learning, development and well-being are at the center. You work to offer varied instruction that takes advantage of students' interests, strengthens their social skills and promotes creativity, responsibility and cooperation. You contribute to creating continuity between the school day and afterschool program and work closely with classroom teachers and other staff to provide students with a cohesive day. The position includes teaching sports for grades 4-6. You have clear and secure leadership in the student group and build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS You who apply are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach in afterschool programs or are an educated afterschool pedagogue. For the position, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. You also have good knowledge of the afterschool program's mission and governing documents and can implement them in practice. To succeed in the role, you are a secure and clear leader with good pedagogical insight. You have the ability to create structure, build positive relationships and establish an inclusive learning environment where all students feel seen and included. You are creative and dedicated, with the ability to create stimulating activities through play, creative work and movement. You are flexible, solution-focused and work well with colleagues, students and guardians, while taking responsibility for developing the activity forward. Salary form: Monthly salary.
