As a leisure time instructor at Uranienborg School, you are responsible for creating an inspiring and developmental environment for students during their time in the leisure activity program. You work both during school hours as a pedagogical resource in the classroom and after school hours in the after-school program. The role involves actively contributing to students' social and personal development through structured activities, play and learning. The work can be both independent and as part of our engaged team. With us, you get a meaningful assignment where you shape children's daily life from play to learning. The daily work consists of, among other things: • Plan and implement meaningful activities that promote student development and learning in the after-school program. • Support students pedagogically during school hours as a resource in the classroom. • Create safety and structure through clear boundaries, calm and professional interaction, and good leadership. • Build good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues to promote cooperation and well-being. • Contribute to the development of the operation through new thinking, initiative and goal-oriented work. QUALIFICATIONS Who are we looking for? We are looking for a certified leisure time pedagogue who is a safe and clear instructor with a calm and attentive approach. You have a natural ability to meet each student according to their needs and create an environment where children feel seen and appreciated. You are relationship-building, structured and actively contribute to a positive culture in the after-school program and the team. We value your initiative and your solution-focused approach. You enjoy working together, are creative in your pedagogy and see possibilities in every encounter with children, guardians and your colleagues. Required competencies: • Trained and qualified leisure time pedagogue • Good knowledge of Swedish spoken and written Meritorious: • Experience with assignments in after-school programs • Mentor training • Swimming proficiency as swimming instruction may occur • Eligibility to teach music or physical education, or alternatively experience teaching these subjects In this recruitment, we ask you to attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions.
