The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro Municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary schools, school-age childcare, upper secondary schools, and municipal adult education with Swedish for Immigrants and special education for adults. Within the administration there is education in glasswork through the National Glass School in Pukeberg as well as commissioned education and courses within the university college sector. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher in after-school care at Fagerslättsskolan, you will be part of a work team. You are expected to have strong collaboration skills and be solution-focused. Your work is characterized by structure and you see the collaboration between school and after-school care as an opportunity to create a whole for students and guardians. You are flexible and can quickly adapt based on the student's best interests and you actively contribute to the development of the entire operation. You understand and have knowledge of working with low-arousal approaches with students who particularly need it, and you think it is important to have a common approach. You build good relationships with guardians to promote cooperation between school and home. You stay updated on work towards the operation's common goals and participate in the school's systematic quality work. You plan, implement, and evaluate activities based on national goals and guidelines. Your communication with colleagues and school leadership is good, and you can also expect good support for your assignment from your immediate colleagues and supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS You need to have a teacher's degree with qualification to work in after-school care and preferably qualification in visual arts. Personal suitability is a requirement for employment.
