SSHL is a boarding school with roots dating back to the 1920s and currently has approximately 550 students from over 30 countries. We offer both Swedish and international education programs, including upper secondary school and IB programs. DUTIES We are now seeking a certified teacher at 100% in biology and chemistry at the Swedish upper secondary school. The position includes mentorship and involves working closely with students, colleagues, and school leadership in a dynamic and international environment. In your role as a teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in biology and chemistry. You actively work to develop teaching together with colleagues and contribute to a stimulating learning environment. As a mentor, you follow students' development, support them in their studies, and are an important adult in their school life. We are looking for someone who: is a certified teacher in biology and chemistry finds it easy to build trusting relationships with young people and colleagues is organized, flexible, and has strong planning skills has a solution-oriented approach and good judgment has a genuine interest in teaching and students' development thrives in an international and dynamic environment QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications: teaching certification with qualifications in biology and chemistry at upper secondary level teaching certification with qualifications in natural science is a merit experience teaching at upper secondary level is required excellent communication skills in Swedish and English experience in an international environment is a merit Employment form: Permanent position.
