Description We at Ilandaskolan are now seeking a Swedish teacher for grades 7-9 who wants to play an important role in students' development and have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives. Ilandaskolan is a middle school and adapted elementary school with approximately 540 students from grades 7 to 9. The school is located by Ilandatjärn with proximity to Stodeneskogen and Hertzöga IP. At our school, students and staff are organized into four teams, one for each grade level and one for the adapted elementary school. We devote considerable time and effort to making the school a pleasant and stimulating environment for everyone. We focus on preventive and developmental student health work. Ilandaskolan | Karlstad Municipality Job Responsibilities As a teacher in grades 7-9, your primary task is to develop students' knowledge and skills based on the curriculum and each student's individual needs and conditions. You plan instruction by establishing goals, selecting methods and materials, and preparing lessons. Together with the students, you evaluate the instruction to continuously strive to improve teaching, student learning, and your professional development. Qualifications We are looking for you with teacher certification and eligibility in Swedish for grades 7-9. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and strong didactic and pedagogical abilities. You lead and organize your work to create safety, an appropriate study environment, and a good learning environment for our students. Of course, you maintain a professional approach and work for good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
