conducts epidemiological surveillance of infections and their risk factors in the personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses); prepares and submits to the institution's manager for approval descriptions of infection management procedures (hand hygiene, equipment cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, laundry, medical waste management, employee biological safety and occupational exposure prevention, etc.) ("procedures manual") and participates in preparing descriptions of medical and nursing procedures; monitors the implementation of infection prevention measures (patient isolation, equipment hygiene, premises hygiene, sterilization control, etc.) in personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses); coordinates the completion of the "Infectious Diseases Registration Journal" in personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses); conducts continuous monitoring of hygiene skills of employees working in personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses); monitors medical waste management in personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses); monitors medical laundry management in personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses) and at the laundry facility; consults employees of personal health care service departments of LKT and their subdivisions (according to work addresses) on hygiene and infection management matters; selects methods and develops cleaning and disinfection plans for premises where personal health care services are provided, for existing and newly acquired medical equipment, according to manufacturer recommendations; reports to their department head on the work performed and submits a report on the specified work period upon request.
