Are you an IT project manager with experience in kanban and AI? Then you've found the right opportunity. Our client is seeking an IT project manager who can onboard and get started before summer break, and then ramp up full speed in August. The client is building a completely new on-premise AI platform. The platform runs on a GPU cluster in Sweden, with strict separation of data, users, and applications. A few applications are already in use in the nuclear power units. More are in active delivery across three small teams working in parallel. This is not a new planning exercise. It's an ongoing "program" with real users, active stakeholders, and a partially high-level, partially granular backlog – it needs a Kanban-driven delivery structure and a leader focused on execution. This is a consulting assignment of approximately 6 months located in Solna. Maximum 2 days remote. Job Description Own project management from start to finish: goals, budget, timeline, and quality across a portfolio of 12+ AI use cases. Establish and own a Kanban board as the primary tool for delivery management — visualize work in progress for all team members and 12+ use cases (manage flow and ensure blockers are detected and resolved quickly). Coordinate three delivery units (A, B, C) — six AI engineers initially — with Kanban as the primary workflow framework. Facilitate cadences: daily stand-ups, backlog refinement meetings, flow reviews, etc. Manage a diverse stakeholder landscape spanning five business units (FKA, RAB, SKB, BAG, KSU), an infrastructure architect, IT security, and a Nuclear IT Architecture Board (NITAB). Translate requirements (with full support from team members) into actionable tasks on the Kanban board, ensuring teams work closely with product owners and leads per use case. Track and communicate progress toward a rolling delivery roadmap for use case rollouts. Align reporting cadence with Project StreeCo. Coordinate regularly with the delivery manager. Ensure the initiative meets regulatory and security governance requirements, including ISMS 1042 and security audit cycles. Requirements 9+ years of experience as an IT project manager, preferably in a multi-stakeholder environment Proven Kanban knowledge and skills — you understand flow metrics, can design and run a Kanban for a set of multiple small teams, and know how to drive real delivery improvements. Strong stakeholder management competence; ability to translate between business expectations and reality across multiple business units Comfortable working with some ambiguity and lack of structure — this role requires a self-directed person who doesn't wait to be told what to do (you'll receive guidance, advice, and delegated tasks from the delivery manager – the right hand for the assignment) Experience in regulated, security-sensitive, or nuclear IT environments Experience with AI or platform delivery projects Fluent English; Swedish is definitely an advantage since we're talking about an English-speaking team and primarily Swedish stakeholders Could this be an assignment for you?
