The school has approximately 180 students. We are now seeking a teacher for our technology program. Your Assignment We are now offering a full-time position teaching physics, chemistry, and technology in our technology program. The position also includes mentoring duties. You will also play an important role in continuously developing the technology education program alongside your colleagues. As a teacher at LBS, you will be highly involved in the school's systematic quality work and pedagogical development. Your Profile We are primarily seeking someone who is a certified teacher with an interest in developing our technology program. Beyond strong subject matter expertise, you want to contribute engagement, humor, and humility to our school. Together with the principal and colleagues, you take responsibility for the school's pedagogical development, subject area development, and your own professional growth. You are creative in planning and delivering your instruction, foster enthusiasm for learning, and have the ability to see students as individuals with different needs and motivations. In the classroom, you are a secure leader and skilled at building positive relationships with students. It would be beneficial if you have other creative competencies or interests. Additional Information This is a permanent position with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the Education Act's competency requirements).
