Gullhedskolan is a K-6 school with after-school care and currently has just over 230 students. The school is located in the center of Järbo and is close to the library, forest, football field, and ice hockey rink. The school focuses on the importance of movement and has a beautiful schoolyard that encourages physical activity. There are several types of movement courses and planned recess activities led by the school's educators. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher in grade 5 with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating instruction according to the school's governing documents. The assignment involves creating an accessible learning environment where students' curiosity and desire to learn are valued. You contribute by: • Stimulating students' development and learning based on their individual needs • Building good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues • Being a clear and trustworthy role model for students • Working actively to create an inclusive and safe school environment • Collaborating with the work team to develop instruction We make each other better by: • Sharing knowledge and experience in collegial forums • Strengthening each other in daily work • Having an open and solution-focused approach • Keeping the student at the center QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you need to have good pedagogical insight and understand how students learn in different ways. You have an easy time building trusting relationships and contribute to a safe and accessible learning environment. Attentiveness and collaboration skills are important qualities in collegial work, where instruction is developed together. A structured work approach facilitates planning and follow-up, while flexibility allows you to handle changing needs and see opportunities in new situations. An inclusive approach permeates your work and creates good conditions for all students. The assignment requires: • Teaching certification with authorization to teach grades 4-6 • Good knowledge of the elementary school's governing documents • Strong Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good IT skills and experience with digital tools are merits.
