Ljungbyhedsskolan is located approximately 12 km from Klippan's center in a scenic area with forest and Rönneå as nearest neighbors. We are a K-9 school with approximately 370 students in total and an after-school program with approximately 100 students. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a mathematics and science teacher for grades 7-9 at Ljungbyhedsskolan, you have an important and developmental role where you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality instruction that awakens students' curiosity and understanding of the world around them. You put theory into practice through laboratory work and adapt your pedagogy so that it becomes both comprehensible and engaging for students. The role includes mentorship where, through safe, clear, and relationship-building leadership, you support students' academic and personal development. You help us build an unpretentious and cohesive team where collaboration, collegial exchange, and shared commitment to student achievement and well-being are central. In your role as lead teacher, you actively work to increase student achievement by developing instruction and serving as a professionally skilled pedagogical role model. You support colleagues through mentoring, observation, and modeling of instruction, with particular focus on strengthening new or less experienced teachers. You also function as a support to the principal in the school's pedagogical development work. Together with the development team, you contribute to quality assurance through monitoring and analysis of operations. As a lead teacher, you have 40 hours of workplace-based time. The assignment duration varies between 1-3 years. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed teacher in mathematics and science for grades 7-9 and have a strong ability to translate the curriculum's objectives into clear and engaging instruction. You are a reliable role model with strong relationship-building leadership in the classroom, and you have a good understanding of adolescent development. The role requires that you have good pedagogical and didactical skills and that you are skilled at adapting your instruction to meet each student's unique circumstances and needs. Furthermore, you are a team player with good collaboration skills who values collegial exchange. You communicate fluently in spoken and written Swedish to professionally collaborate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and you master digital technology. To be qualified for the lead teacher position, you need to have teacher certification and at least four years of well-documented teaching experience. Employment Type: Permanent employment.
