Property Engineer

Trelleborgs församling is seeking a Property Engineer! The owned properties include S:t Nicolai Church, the fellowship hall, a larger chapel with crematorium, a smaller chapel, and associated staff buildings. This is a new position that requires you to enjoy building up a new role based on your own initiative and have the ability to do so. Main responsibilities and work areas: - Project lead smaller property projects independently and larger ones together with the Churchyard and Property Manager, who is the project owner - Plan, coordinate, implement, and follow up on operations and maintenance according to care and maintenance plans. Work with the facility supply plan. - Create cost and decision-making documentation for maintenance measures and investments - Maintain contact and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and consultants - Receive the municipality's environmental unit for inspection visits and handle any necessary measures. Ensure that the properties meet legal and regulatory requirements - Work with the congregation's environmental certification and other environmental matters - Order service and repair work. Write procedures. - Serve as fire safety inspector and manage and administer systematic fire safety work - Participate in safety rounds - Perform other common tasks within operations and property maintenance together with the custodian Degree of independence and initiative: The role requires a high degree of independence and initiative. You have great freedom to structure your work day as you wish. Collaboration skills and collaboration areas internally and externally: Very good collaboration skills are required both internally, with private individuals, and with partners. Personal qualities: - Structured - Communicative and responsive - High concentration ability - High collaboration and solution-oriented ability - High sense of responsibility and ability to work independently Professional experience: The minimum requirements for the position are experience in planning, coordination, and work within operations and maintenance of properties. Desirable and meritorious are project management experience from work with Swedish Church properties or from work in culturally historically valuable environments. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Formal education/competence: The minimum requirements for the position are a B driving license and upper secondary school education. Desirable and meritorious are qualifications in property management, building technology, or equivalent. Language requirements are very good Swedish, both spoken and written. IT competence/special programs: The position requires knowledge of working in commonly used property management systems and programs such as the Office suite. It is important to be able to work in a structured manner. Merits include the ability to produce drawings in AutoCAD or equivalent programs. Opportunities for development: Opportunities exist for development within the role such as participation in networks and training in property management.
