About the Position Ikett Personalpartner is seeking a skilled welder for one of our clients in Skurup. The role involves varied work where you participate in building, adapting, and reinforcing structures for heavy vehicles – always with a focus on precision and durability. Your tasks will include: - Welding of chassis, frame structures, and components for heavy vehicles - Working with multiple welding methods, such as MIG/MAG, TIG, flux-cored wire, and stick welding - Welding in various materials, primarily stainless steel and mild steel - Repair, reinforcement, and customization of vehicles - Interpreting drawings and working according to technical instructions Work is conducted during day shifts. Start date by agreement. About the Company The company specializes in truck body building and develops customized, client-tailored solutions based on each business's specific needs and requirements. Your Profile We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in vehicles and who is ambitious, positive, and curious about the properties of metals. You have education in the field or previous practical welding experience. To thrive and succeed in this role, we'd like you to have: - Welding experience, preferably from work with heavy vehicles or in industry - Strong skills in MIG/MAG, TIG, flux-cored wire, and MMA/stick welding - Ability to read and work from drawings and technical documentation - Basic workshop experience, such as drilling and assembly - Experience with assembly work You collaborate well with others, bring a positive attitude, and have a strong focus on quality in your work. If you also have knowledge in hydraulics and electrical systems, that's highly desirable. Driver's License Category B is required.
