Experienced Strategic Procurement Manager

We are now looking for a strategic procurement manager to join our team within Systems and Energy Materials, a broad and exciting procurement area. The role is based at Saab Dynamics in Karlskoga or in Solna, where you will become part of a skilled and engaged procurement team. Your Role As a strategic procurement manager, you will have a central role where you build and develop a broad network, both internally within Saab and externally with our suppliers. You will be an important part of ensuring competitiveness, sustainability, and cost-efficiency in our supplier base. In the role, you will, among other things: Manage your own supplier base and continuously develop it. Develop and implement supplier strategies. Negotiate, manage, and further develop supplier agreements. Support business units' projects and programs with commercial expertise. Lead cross-functional teams with a focus on efficiency and cost savings. Issue RFQs, evaluate quotes, and negotiate prices and terms. Ensure that Saab's procurement strategy, policies, and procedures are followed. Your Profile To succeed in this role, we believe you are a business-driven person who enjoys building relationships and creating collaborations, both within the organization and with external partners. You are communicative and confident in driving discussions, while also having an analytical and structured approach that helps you see the bigger picture and make well-founded decisions. You have extensive experience in strategic procurement or related areas. Relevant post-secondary education in, for example, engineering or economics is an advantage, but we also welcome other backgrounds with the right expertise. Since the role involves many contacts both nationally and internationally, it is important that you master Swedish and English very well in both speech and writing. You are very familiar with working in MS Office and have experience using business systems. It is also an advantage if you have experience with contract negotiations and Energy Materials. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance requirements. For positions where Saab has security classification requirements, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
