We recently decided to bring administration, IT, and emergency preparedness under one umbrella to create synergy, and now we're looking for you to lead that journey. Your mission will be to shape the unit, and you will have the mandate to set the structures, working methods, and goals for our collective work. You will have personnel, budget, and operational responsibility for three specialist areas: Administration: Responsibility for committee administration, records management, and archives. You ensure legal certainty and good public administration. IT: Strategic governance of our digital environment, system management, and digitalization pace. IT has an operational manager. Emergency Preparedness: Leadership of work on civil defense, crisis preparedness, and security protection. Emergency Preparedness has an operational manager. Your Areas of Responsibility and Main Tasks • Lead and develop the unit for emergency preparedness, IT, and administration. • Streamline administrative procedures and ensure the administration complies with laws and governing documents. • Implement and follow up on policies and procedures for information security and data protection. • Drive development projects within digitalization and information security. • Ensure the organization is prepared for incidents and crises. • Provide advisory support to management on matters concerning legal issues, security, and IT strategy. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant academic education in security, IT, law, or equivalent, or alternatively experience that the employer deems equivalent. We also place great emphasis on your personal suitability and your ability to build relationships. You have knowledge in at least one of the unit's areas of responsibility and a genuine interest in the others. You also have strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, as well as the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. We are looking for a communicative leader with the ability to prioritize in a complex everyday environment. You are accustomed to moving between strategic decisions and operational matters. Since the role is new, it requires you to be self-directed, proactive, and have a pedagogical ability to explain why security and structure are everyone's responsibility. If you have experience leading through change or starting up operations, and have experience in leadership with personnel and budget responsibility, preferably in the public sector, that is a merit. Qualities such as solution-focused, structured, and having a strong drive are viewed as merits. The position is placed in a security classification. Security vetting with background check will be conducted before employment according to Chapter 3 of the Security Protection Act. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Permanent employment.
