The school has approximately 730 students distributed among grades F-3, 4-6, 7-9, and an afterschool program, as well as approximately 100 staff members. All educators are part of a work team with an assigned coordinator. DUTIES Your mission with us is to lay the foundation for a Good Life for the students you meet. Great emphasis is placed on relationships and special education approaches. We are looking for you to work as a student assistant and resource for our students. You work closely with one or several students during the school day and are an important support in both teaching and social situations. The assignment involves adapting support based on the student's individual needs in close collaboration with the work team and student services. Students may have different needs such as neurodevelopmental variations, medical needs like diabetes, other functional variations, or need for special support. You contribute to creating security, structure, and participation in the student's school day. QUALIFICATIONS We see that you as an applicant have experience working with students in need of special support, and it is meritable if you also have experience with children with diabetes. The position may be combined with work in the afterschool program. The assignment includes: * supporting students in teaching and during breaks * contributing to a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment * helping with structure, clarity, and routines * collaborating with teachers and other staff * when needed, handling medical routines according to instruction, e.g., support regarding diabetes We are looking for someone who: * has experience working with children and young people * has knowledge of or experience with neurodevelopmental variations and low-arousal approaches * is confident in working with students in need of special support * expresses yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
