The school's three prioritized development areas for the 2025/26 school year are: Increased goal achievement for all students Develop a clear and coherent structure for equitable instruction, assessment, and pedagogical activities in grades F-6 Develop a safe, active, and structured outdoor environment during breaks and after-school time that promotes participation and movement for all students in grades F-6 Starting in spring 2026, we have launched a special initiative - cooperative learning that will permeate our entire operations from a grades F-6 perspective. Duvboskolan is an F–6 school with a history dating back to the early 1900s. Today we have approximately 360 students, divided into two parallel classes per grade level. The school has around 40 staff members and four after-school programs. Students in grades 4–6 and the after-school club are located at Rissne ängar. We are seeking a certified teacher who wants to make a difference for our students in grades 4–6. In your role as a teacher, you work closely with mentors and help develop instruction, with special focus on Swedish and mathematics. Together you create structures and working methods that strengthen students' knowledge and goal achievement. You also teach science subjects and technology, and may serve as a mentor for some individual students. Requirements Qualified to teach Swedish, mathematics, science subjects, and technology. It is meritorious if you have previous experience teaching at the intermediate level. About the Position As a teacher at our school, you will: teach science subjects and technology provide flexible support especially in Swedish and mathematics through co-teaching in class and targeted interventions in small groups collaborate with mentors, student services, other staff, and guardians plan, implement, and follow up on instruction contribute to the development of learning environments that promote student learning and safety In your role as teacher, you are an important adult for our students. Your student focus is clear and reflected in your approach in daily work. You monitor students' development - both academically and socially.
