We need more energy heroes, and now we are looking for a Commissioning Manager for large substation projects who wants to be part of the journey! Is that you? Together, we make a difference for society as a whole. As Commissioning Manager, you will be part of the Projects unit. The project operations are responsible for driving our larger substation projects from tender to operational facility. We are established in several locations and run projects throughout the country. Our customers are primarily the larger grid operators, and the projects cover all voltage levels from 10kV up to 400kV. In the projects, we work with the latest technology from several of the industry's leading suppliers, which provides an interesting and educational daily work experience. What does a Commissioning Manager for large substation projects do with us? The position primarily involves working with commissioning of our larger projects, but assignments within smaller projects and maintenance may also occur. Testing before commissioning includes all types of control equipment such as protective relays, RTUs, automation systems, local power supplies, and more. The focus will be on larger substation projects at voltage levels of 130kV and 400kV. The role includes responsibility for and coordination of testing when multiple engineers are working on the same project. Within the scope of the projects, you report to the project manager. You have the technical responsibility, and the project manager has the commercial responsibility. The role involves extensive travel within Sweden. Both day trips and longer trips occur. Examples of tasks/responsibilities included: Ensure technical function and contract compliance Support the project with technical questions throughout the project Review of design documents such as single-line diagrams, relay block diagrams, circuit diagrams, and more Configuration of protective relays, including communication configuration via, for example, IEC61850 Establishment of testing plans Coordination of testing work when multiple engineers are on site Compilation of testing protocols Responsibility for communication regarding technical matters with the project manager Be a mentor to junior staff members Requirements Specification We are looking for you who are analytical and enjoy solving complex problems. For you, nothing is impossible! You are well versed in the field and would like to share your knowledge with your colleagues. Taking on a task and completing it together with the project group is self-evident for you. We know that you will develop together with us. But we would like you to already have: Experience with commissioning of control systems for substations or hydroelectric power stations Experience with configuration of protective relays Competence regarding communication via IEC61850 A post-secondary electrical power education or equivalent work experience within electrical power Good IT and computer skills Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written B-level driving license is a requirement Meritorious: Leadership experience Experience mentoring junior engineers Additional Information We Offer After several decades in the energy industry, we know that our employees are our most important and valuable asset.
