Your abilities build Sweden's defense In this rapid development, you as the applicant have a crucial role as manager and leader. You have a strong focus on leadership and delivery, a good ability to build and develop relationships both internally and externally, and you see responsibility as a natural part of your job. Fortifikationsverket is now establishing geographical area responsibilities in Sweden where the combined property and investment portfolio is developed within a given geographical area. To support the national overall picture, this production coordination staff division is also being established. The goal is to maintain high delivery capacity and proximity to our partners in their daily work. The division's responsibilities include analysis and preparation of materials to support the agency's management in prioritizing and balancing between sub-portfolios (geographies) in the short and long term with a focus on national priorities. The division shall also assist with aggregated production follow-up from geographies for the national situation picture. The role may involve becoming manager of subordinate managers. Qualifications We are looking for someone with academic education that we consider relevant for the position. You have experience working in a leading position and you are accustomed to leading and achieving results through other managers. You also have experience with coordinating work and you have experience with preparation and decision-making processes as well as operational planning and financial follow-up. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as well as experience using administrative support systems. Driver's license class B is a requirement. It is advantageous if you have experience working in a defense-related environment or state authority. It is also to your advantage if you have documented good experience with development work and change management, as well as knowledge of information security and public administration. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. You are driven and communicative with very good strategic and analytical ability. Your leadership is characterized by clarity in goal descriptions and decisions. You can convey your messages at both management level and in operational activities. Furthermore, you are organized, have good prioritization skills and a focus on delivery. You easily create and develop relationships and act professionally in your daily work. About the employment The position is a permanent employment with placement in Eskilstuna. Swedish citizenship is required and the employment involves wartime placement and placement in a security classification.
