Our Offering Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, four urgent care centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, a child health unit, 1177, and a general medicine training center. Please read more about your benefits with us. Job Description You work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers at the health center and meet a wide variety of patient cases. Valdemarsviks Municipality has a high proportion of elderly people. You work with a public health focus where patient encounters occur individually or in groups and follow NCP (Nutrition Care Process) where assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and evaluation of nutrition-related health issues are handled in an evidence-based manner. Since we prioritize good collaboration in an interdisciplinary team at the health center, you also share responsibility for developing local guidelines and conducting internal training for staff. As a practicing dietitian, you are part of a dietitian network within the region's primary care centers with approximately 25 active dietitians. The network is coordinated by a dietitian who provides orientation, supervision, and monitors and conveys information and news within the region, healthcare, and nutrition field. For good collaboration, the dietitian organization maintains regular contact through profession-specific meetings held digitally or in person once per month, as well as a network meeting 1-2 times per term with dietitians working in specialist care. Development of overall procedures, methods, and guidelines takes place within the dietitian organization. You have the opportunity for profession-specific continuing education, and every other year a two-day dietitian conference is planned for further professional development in the organization. We prioritize patient safety and working environment and thus have a region-wide prioritization plan for patient flow and have established a collaboration function for temporary absences where you are supported by staff members who handle part of your patient flow while you are away. Part of the position can be conducted remotely. About You We are looking for a licensed dietitian with experience in your professional role; it is meritorious if you have experience working in primary care. As a person, you are curious, engaged, and have a solution-focused approach to work. The position requires that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy being part of a team, but also that you have the ability to work independently. It is also important that you have a strong ability and willingness to develop the service and can consider the broader perspective while keeping the entire service's best interests in mind. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
