About the Naval Staff Information Section The Information Section of the Staff is part of the Naval Staff, which is a naval command unit located on Muskö near Nynäshamn. The Naval Staff exercises unified command of the naval units, which includes all training, exercises, and operations. The Information Section's task is to provide support and service to the Naval Staff's leadership and staff in coordination and information management. The department handles large amounts of information in different formats and security levels and constitutes an important part of the staff's expertise in information management. The department's responsibilities also include supporting naval staff personnel with training in how to handle information in different formats, both from a legal and practical perspective. Main Responsibilities We are seeking a chief for our information section, which consists of 4 employees. You will plan, lead, and follow up on the section's activities. You will work as a first-line manager, which includes leading and supporting employees. Beyond management, your responsibilities will include information management within the Naval Staff. Through the section, you will ensure that incoming and outgoing national and international information is structured and distributed to the relevant department within the Naval Staff. You will also follow up on case processing through the various case management systems used by the Swedish Armed Forces and train new personnel in internal working methods and internal information management systems. The work requires a very organized personality who is accustomed to working with large volumes of information and can systematize it so that it becomes both traceable and searchable in accordance with military logical staff working methods. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications University or college degree or equivalent competence acquired in another way that the employer deems equivalent 2 years of experience in staff work Experience with information systems Experience from a supervisory position in the Swedish Armed Forces Experience working in SAP Strong knowledge of the entire Microsoft Office suite Strong knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing Class B driver's license Personal Qualities As a person, you have well-developed leadership skills and an interest in people.
