Job Responsibilities As a residential support worker, you work closely with users in their daily lives. You provide support based on individual needs and implementation plans, with a focus on strengthening independence and quality of life. The work includes supporting users with everyday tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and home organization. You motivate and support users in social contacts and activities, as well as provide support with contacts with authorities and healthcare institutions. The work also involves working with routines, planning, and structure in daily life, as well as documenting according to current guidelines. You work both with independent responsibility and together with colleagues in a team. The work requires that you can adapt your approach based on the individual's daily condition and needs, which makes the work both developmental and sometimes challenging. Qualifications We are looking for you who have relevant education, such as nursing assistant, caregiver, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience working in psychiatry, socio-psychiatry, or similar operations, and you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You also have basic computer skills and a B-driving license for manual transmission. It is an advantage if you have experience with residential support or similar support services in a home environment. We would also like to see that you have knowledge of mental health issues and neuropsychiatric disabilities, as well as experience with low-emotional contact and motivational work, such as MI.
