Then we have something for you! EmmagÄrden is a specialized residential facility focused on dementia care, just a short walk from central Mora. We are currently seeking both trained nursing assistants for permanent positions in our short-term care unit, Rosen. Responsibilities As an employee with us, you will be an important part of our residents' daily lives and contribute to them having a safe and meaningful existence, including helping them with: Personal care Meals and nutrition Social support You will also perform delegated tasks from healthcare personnel, such as exercise or medication management. A very important part of the work is to document care work in our management system according to instructions and the National Board of Health and Welfare's recommendations. This means keeping notes about our residents' health and well-being and reporting any changes. Qualifications We are seeking: Trained nursing assistants with valid professional credentials. You need to have: Basic knowledge in hygiene, ergonomics, pathology, and communication. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in order to communicate effectively with residents, relatives, colleagues, and other professionals. We consider it a merit if you have any supplementary education in, for example, dementia care or palliative care. Abilities and Skills We are seeking empathetic and attentive people with a genuine interest in working with elderly individuals. When you work with people with dementia, as you will do with us, it is necessary that you have a good ability to read and respond to individuals based on their different needs and circumstances, and that you are able to easily adapt to changing circumstances. Since you work daily with human interaction, it is important that you can build trust and establish good relationships both internally and externally. Social Services Department With its more than 700 employees, the Social Services Department conducts a broad range of activities to ensure that our residents receive the support and assistance to which they are entitled. The department operates under the Social Committee and is responsible for care and support for the elderly and people with physical and mental disabilities, as well as support, counseling, and other services for children, youth, and adults. The Social Services Department's work is regulated by laws and ordinances, particularly the Social Services Act (SoL), the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS).
