Join us on our journey. Grow with us We're seeking a case manager for the social psychiatry target group within the adult secondary services area in Haninge Municipality. This position is a temporary assignment extending through December 2026 with possible extension. Adult secondary services include authority functions for young adults, adults with substance abuse issues, and social psychiatry. We operate our own housing facilities for these target groups, residential support, community-based services, and our own outpatient care. The Social Psychiatry Investigation unit exercises authority under the Social Services Act. The unit's overarching goal is to create conditions for increased independence for individuals within the target group. Operations are conducted in accordance with statutory requirements, political objectives, and municipal guidelines. Together, we work toward the administration's common goals. We are accessible and provide excellent service, we treat our residents with professionalism and respect, and we carefully manage taxpayers' money. The unit's focus in authority work is legally sound case handling and consistent assessments. The unit's task is to process applications from individuals, investigate need for services, make decisions, and follow up on services. The unit consists of seven case managers, including one senior case manager, two administrative positions serving the entire area, and a unit manager. Your Assignment You will primarily handle cases and investigate the need for support and services for people with mental disabilities. The target group consists of people aged 18-65 who primarily have mental disabilities. We generally work in the administration to develop new methods to strengthen work with people with comorbidities. Examples of work tasks: Receive applications and conduct investigations to map individuals' service needs and make decisions on cases Collaborate internally and externally, lead care plans, treatment planning, and other network meetings Document relevant information Stay updated on current legislation Contribute to the unit's general development and promote a good work environment What we're looking for in you Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Social Work student in semester 7 Theoretical knowledge of current legislation Experience with authority functions and case handling within mental disability Strong ability to express yourself both orally and in writing with excellent command of Swedish It's important to us that you're a stable person who can remain calm in difficult situations. You also have a solution-oriented and empathetic approach and are clear and structured in your work. You're self-directed and able to take initiative to ensure work runs smoothly. You have strong collaboration skills and place great value on providing good service, both internally and externally.
