Job Responsibilities In your role as a social caseworker, you will work with investigating, assessing individuals' needs and making decisions about interventions based on the Social Services Act (SoL). We work primarily with individuals who have needs within social psychiatry and elderly care. You will also follow up on decisions made, where you need to have a holistic perspective and base your work on the individual's needs. You work independently but also in close collaboration with colleagues, other professionals, and activities both internally and externally. In your daily work, you have contact with the individual through visits, phone calls, and with their relatives. Requirements for the position: Sociology degree or behavioral science degree with social law Category B driver's license. Merits for the position: Experience working in social care and exercising public authority Experience investigating according to IBIC and/or worked in the LifeCare system and the LINK collaboration system. About the Workplace The work team consists of 14 social caseworkers within elderly care and social psychiatry, plus 1 housing coordinator and a unit manager. We sit and work together in central Karlshamn. We collaborate closely with other professionals such as unit managers, staff within home care and housing support, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other caseworkers within the municipality.
