About the Organization We operate residential services within social care with a focus on safety, security, and care for women, children, and families in vulnerable life situations. Many of the families we meet need to leave their hometown and begin a new chapter in their lives. In our work we encounter trauma, grief, anger, fear, and despair, but also laughter, progress, pride, and faith in the future. Working with us therefore requires both professionalism, warmth, and personal maturity. About the Position We are in an exciting development phase where the needs and rights of children to a safe and meaningful daily life are in focus. As a child educator/social educator, you will work in our community center where you, together with a colleague, are responsible for creating a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for our placed families. The community center is an important meeting place where children have the opportunity for play, creativity, community, and recovery. At the same time, relief and support are created for the parents. You will become an important person of trust during the family's stay and work both on building relationships and practically in everyday life. We would like you to have a background as a teacher, recreation educator, social educator, or other relevant education in psychiatry, behavioral science, or social work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and are looking for someone who feels confident when meeting both adults and children. You have progressed in your career and have developed confidence in your professional role, with the ability to apply your knowledge and experience in a professional and independent manner.
