The Role of Occupational Therapist with Us As an occupational therapist in home healthcare in Kungsbacka, you work to strengthen individuals' independence and quality of life at home. You meet people in different life situations and contribute to security, continuity, and a functioning everyday life. The work is independent and varied, while you are also part of close teamwork with physical therapists, nurses, and other professionals. Your main responsibilities include: Assessment of activity capacity and needs in daily life Planning and implementation of individual interventions and training Supervision of care personnel Prescription of assistive devices and adaptation of the home environment Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team to create safe and cohesive care In your role as a patient-responsible occupational therapist, you are responsible for standard occupational therapy services within home healthcare. You are responsible for patients in a geographic area who live in both ordinary housing and in our care and residential facilities. You work closely with the physical therapist in the team, where you jointly drive rehabilitation forward. The role also involves actively contributing to the team's development and a working approach characterized by collaboration and learning.
