Description The Labor Market Unit (AME) in Ljusdal Municipality offers positions for individuals who, for various reasons, have a longer path to employment in the regular labor market. With us, individuals gain skills by participating in employment activities and/or receiving a time-limited created employment position. The long-term goal is to help individuals obtain work in the regular labor market or begin studying, as well as achieve self-sufficiency. At AME, we currently have around 25 permanent employees who work together toward the same goal in various roles. We are a dedicated group that wants to meet and develop individuals while contributing to sustainable societal development. We are now seeking a work leader for one of our operational areas. Within AME Reuse, we consolidate all our work within our assignments related to reused materials, refurbished furniture and items, and their handling. We operate the AME Store and Omigen, both focused on making useful items available to others. We will also have a component where we offer social gatherings and simple activities within the reuse framework. Within AME Reuse, we offer employment positions for those who need to take a first step toward work/studies and self-sufficiency. You will be part of a work team that currently includes three supervisors. The supervisors work with individuals on daily tasks. When needed, you will also be a resource in the operations. Duties The role involves being the link between management and operations. At the same time, you will be part of the work group together with supervisors and individuals who hold employment positions. You will have overall responsibility for the AME Reuse operational unit. This means directing and allocating daily work based on operational needs and the number of people with employment positions. The job requires great flexibility and the ability to prioritize based on current circumstances. The role includes documenting operational work and managing finances for the area under your responsibility. You represent your work group at unit meetings and are responsible for communicating relevant information to those involved. The job involves close cooperation with labor market specialists and social services and requires good communication and a solution-focused approach. Qualifications A Category B driver's license for manual transmission is required. You must be able to drive a passenger vehicle with a attached trailer. We consider it a merit if you have: Relevant post-secondary education in social work or other education the employer deems equivalent. Knowledge of the Swedish Public Employment Service's assignments and various interventions. Knowledge of integration issues Knowledge of substance abuse problems and mental health issues Knowledge of social services' overall assignments and provisions for financial assistance Familiarity with the "Housing First" assignment To function as a work leader, you need to be confident and clear in your leadership. You are also unpretentious, open, and communicative. You should have previous experience in leading positions. You are experienced in collaborating with others and are a good and engaged representative for our operations in all situations, both within and outside the organization. We see that you have good experience documenting your work and are comfortable using MS Office. We work in the systems Work & Competence (formerly Accorda), Medvind, and Raindance, and it is an advantage if you have previous experience with these. As a person, you need to have great commitment to our target group and our mission—to strengthen and build competence in individuals. You possess significant personal maturity, excellent collaboration skills, and confident and clear leadership. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
